It means that the app is going to be supported going forward. Existing Cardhop users who don’t want to subscribe will also keep everything that was available in Cardhop 1 for free.Īnd if you’re already using Cardhop, it’s nice to see an update. In other words, the company is bundling premium versions of Fantastical and Cardhop in a single subscription - and the price isn’t changing. If you want to unlock everything, you have to subscribe to the same Flexibits Premium subscription. Cardhop 2 is a free app with a few free features. ![]() Fantastical now also supports Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams.įlexibits wants to go one step further and create an ecosystem of productivity apps. For instance, you can now join conference calls quickly with shortcuts in the menu bar and in the app. Existing users could keep using the app for free as all existing features had been unlocked for them.Īfter switching to this new model, Flexibits released quite a few updates to Fantastical. New users could download the app for free and would have to pay a subscription of $4.99 per month or $39.99 per year to unlock all features. Last year, the company launched a new version of Fantastical with a freemium model. That’s how independent development companies used to charge for apps. Originally, the company released new major updates and users had to pay to download the new version. There are many apps that offer that feature already, but now it’s integrated.įlexibits has been around for 10 years. You can add contacts just by pointing your phone at a business card. On iOS, Flexibits has also added a business card scanning feature. And if you work for a big company with a contact directory, you could easily find the right person to talk with using this new feature. This is going to be a good alternative to email aliases.Ĭardhop can now also generate organizational charts and family trees based on relationships in your contacts. The next time you want to send an invitation, you can create an event with everyone in the group from Cardhop. And if you tend to invite the same group of people to your events, you can create a group in Cardhop. If you’re also using Fantastical, you can send a calendar invite to someone else from Cardhop. Widgets have been a popular feature of iOS 14 and many users will like that new feature. On macOS, you can access it from the Notification Center. On iOS, you can add it to your home screen. ![]() You can now create widgets with your favorite actions. With Cardhop 2, the design has been updated and there are a handful of new features.

Generally, the tourniquet pressure is set to 350 mm Hg for a normal adult. ![]() The tourniquet is then placed circumferentially around the thigh high enough to allow adequate access to the knee after draping. Cotton cast padding is wrapped once or twice around the thigh with care taken to avoid wrinkles. An assistant holds the leg, or the surgeon may place the patient's knee against his or her chest to elevate the thigh. After the patient is positioned, a safety belt is placed around the waist. The patient's pelvis is then moved to the very edge of the operating table to provide the best leverage for positioning the leg against the leg holder or post ( Figs 1 and 2). The patient is positioned with the heels at the end of the table to facilitate access by the surgeon and assistant. This article and Video 1 will review patient positioning, tourniquet placement, use of the leg holder, and draping.

Pinta island turtle2/29/2024 ![]() With the entry of introduced species such as rats, cats, dogs, pigs, donkeys, goats and livestock, they even put the terrestrial turtles in greater danger because these animals fed on the plants that the turtles ate, feed on their eggs or offspring, and trample upon their nests that are in the ground. During the 1800s, 96 boats took more than 13000 turtles in a period of 37 years, many of them put on display on mainland piers such as Guayaquil. The cook cut a part of the living tortoise, kept the rest and so continued with the rest of the tortoises. As there were no freezers or refrigerators where the sailors could put fresh meat, turtles became their ideal food source. Photo by: CDF Library Archives.Īccording to early records, two centuries ago there were thousands of turtles on the islands no one knew the archipelago until 1535, when the ship carrying the Bishop Tomas de Berlanga to Peru found a safe place in the still unknown Galapagos Islands. Lonesome George showing his long neck and saddle-type shell. The chelonian, named because of the name of its species, probably lived more than 100 years, according to our senior researcher, Dr. George had a saddle-type shell that allowed him to raise his neck to reach leaves of tall bushes to feed. ![]() There are 15 species of tortoises in the archipelago, which have a shape and size perfectly adapted to the place where they live. "George was a member of my family, I honored him this way because, of the many tortoises there were, he was the closest and dearest by everybody" Fausto Llerena said after having cared for George for so many years. The Breeding Center where he will be exhibited now have the name of this park ranger and is managed by the Galapagos National Park Directorate. This February 23rd, the Government of Ecuador through the Ministry of the Environment brings back from the Museum of Natural History of New York, the embalmed body of the giant tortoise native of Pinta Island, Lonesome George, who was one of the most famous reptiles in the world for having been the last surviving individual of the species Chelonoidis abingdoni.

Wow na server status2/29/2024 ![]() Players frequently create their own fun outside of questing and PvP, like hosting parties, mock trials, and all sorts of other fun in-game events. If social interaction is what you want (this is an MMO, after all), you should give RP servers a chance. While it might be a bit awkward getting into the groove of roleplaying, RP servers are legendary for their vibrant and tight-knit communities. The difference is that, here, players are encouraged to interact as characters in the world. Roleplaying servers come in both Normal (PvE) and PvP versions. Opportunities to make friends and have dynamic social interactions abound, so if you're okay with potentially having to give up questing in a zone because a group of level 60s are camping your body, PvP servers are the way to go. What's great about PvP servers is that if you ever tire of questing or grinding, there's often groups you can join to raid enemy cities or take over bustling crossroads. PvP servers are for players that want the true World of Warcraft experience, where danger can lurk around any corner as other players can kill you in most zones without penalty. But if you just want to have a good, predictable time, Normal servers are the way to go. That means you won't get unexpectedly ganked by high-level players, but this also diminishes the social interaction of WoW. While playing on these servers, PvP is entirely optional. Normal servers are best if you just want to have a good time leveling up and doing PvE content. There's nothing worse than sitting in a queue for 25 minutes before you can actually play. But if possible refrain from picking any server that are listed at "high" or "full" capacity. While playing on a sparsely populated server sucks, WoW Classic's limited server pool means that many servers are bustling. ![]() Before you decide on a type of server, though, it's also crucial that you pick a server with the lowest population-especially at launch. That's the million dollar question, ain't it? Choosing a good server is critical to your long-term enjoyment of WoW Classic, as the only way to change servers is to either start a new character or pay for a character transfer. How to choose Which WoW Classic server should you choose? You can work with extended attributes from the terminal with the xattr command, but do you really want to go to the terminal every time you want to examine these secret settings (now that you know your OS is keeping secrets from you)? When you’re in a terminal session you can tell that a file has extended attributes by looking for an sign near the permissions column: Apart from that, you can put anything in the value: text, binary content, etc. They key must be a character value & unique, and it’s fairly standard practice to keep the value component under 4K. ![]() For instance, macOS uses them to identify when files have passed through the Gatekeeper or to store the URLs of files that were downloaded via Safari (though most other browsers add the :kMDItemWhereFroms attribute now, too).Īttributes are nothing more than a series of key/value pairs. World explorer ship2/28/2024 ![]() A symbol of these global links was the porcelain produced in China bearing the words E PLURIBUS UNUM made specially for the American market. ![]() They still depended on the resources and supply lines of the inhabitants of the lands they visited, even as they created routes across the entire globe that brought Chinese porcelain and silk from Manila through Mexico to Havana and then on to Spain, or through Macao and then on past southern Africa all the way to Europe. When European sailors - from Portugal, Spain, Holland, England, Denmark and France - entered the Pacific and the Indian Ocean starting in the 16th century, they found a lively maritime world that they could never truly dominate. Portugal also founded the slave trade, bringing captives from West Africa to Europe and later to the Americas without consideration for their humanity. That interest had resulted in the settlement of uninhabited islands including Madeira, which began to export phenomenal quantities of sugar. Even without written records, the Polynesians transmitted exact knowledge of how to sail these apparently boundless waters from generation to generation.īy 1500 AD, the Portuguese had begun to show interest in what the Atlantic might offer. And in the open Pacific, hundreds of scattered islands from Hawaii to Easter Island were settled over many centuries - the Polynesians only reached New Zealand around AD 1300. Later, Marco Polo would bear witness to this vigorous commercial life, with its use of paper money and its links to Java and beyond. But in the 12th century AD, when the coasts of China were open to the world, Hangzhou was at the peak of its prosperity. Early compasses were used for feng shui, not navigation. The Chinese emperors tended to discourage uncontrolled trade, though prohibitions often did more to provoke traders into finding ways around the rules. The Indian Ocean became one of the great channels of trade between nations. ![]() Accumulating and re-investing profits, they were the first capitalists. En route, they acquired copper from Oman and brought precious objects such as carnelian and lapis lazuli from India. These were the people who really mastered the oceans and brought the continents into contact.Īlready around 2500 BC, merchants were setting out from what is now Iraq, the seat of the ancient Sumerian civilization, carrying silver ingots to India, which was the seat of another even more mysterious civilization, that of the Indus Valley. But while these men did give the Age of Discovery its name, they didn’t start the exploration of the world’s oceans - and there were also scores of merchants who followed in their wake, taking full advantage of new knowledge about the open ocean to develop trade links across the world that were the precursors of modern globalization. These were sailors such as Christopher Columbus, who chanced upon unsuspected lands that blocked the expected sea route from Europe to China and Japan. We tend to think that the opening of the oceans was the work of the great explorers, especially the 15th century pioneers who edged their way through uncharted waters to southern Africa, the Indian Ocean and the spice lands of the Indies.

Komatsu dozer gear bearing2/28/2024 Grease it up good for reassembly since there are no zerks. Physically remove every pin from foot pedal to hydraulic spool and look because you cant feel a bad one most of the time. The pin revolves in the yoke and sometimes youre too loose, sometimes too tight but you can never have it work right with that shot pin collection. With a half worn pin one side is normal and the other is worn flat. I had to redrill all my little linkages under the seat and put SAE bolts to replsce the shot pins. See if it will feel right even just once. I have searched the web but cant find anything about replacing. I adjusted it out enough to load it up on the trailer and get it to the barn.
